Cocina Lawhaus

The “Cocina Lawhaus” project was commissioned by the AXIS construction company for a residential apartment renovation in Caballito, Buenos Aires. The client, Celeste, needed an online interior architecture service to redesign her kitchen entirely. She requested more storage, improved layout, and better lighting—both natural and artificial.

I worked closely with her to understand spatial constraints and needs. Although certain architectural limitations, like the exclusion of a range hood, remained fixed, I proposed and implemented key improvements such as raising the kitchen window to better match standard counter heights and improve ventilation. I also concealed the water heater within custom cabinetry to achieve a cleaner look.

The final design features a C-shaped kitchen with floor-to-ceiling storage at the back, olive green base cabinets, light wood tall units, and open shelving with integrated LED lighting. These choices bring clarity, warmth, and balance to the space, proving that even within constraints, good design can thrive.
