Support for Architects & Interior Designers – Secondary Bedroom Concept

This secondary bedroom is part of a full residential project in Sydney, Australia, developed in collaboration with a local interior design studio. My role was to translate the initial concept, sketches, moodboards, base 3D model into a complete set of clear, technically accurate and visually cohesive documentation.

I worked on the 3D modelling, renders, technical drawings, layout, FF&E, and detail development, ensuring that each aesthetic decision could be realistically built on site.

The design concept focused on achieving a sense of intimate modern luxury, using dark materials, deep textures and integrated lighting to sculpt the atmosphere. Key materials include Nero Marquina marble, dark timber battens, black velvet upholstery and flush LED lines embedded in the walls.

The main technical challenge was incorporating LED lighting within stone and joinery surfaces while preserving a seamless, minimal look. Through detailed sections and precise solutions, we achieved a design that is both visually striking and construction-ready.

This project provided the final client with clarity for approval, streamlined communication with the Australian design studio and created reliable documentation for builders. I’m especially proud of the readability of the technical drawings, which make the construction process straightforward and conflict-free.
